Cars, reading, writing, music, concerts, snowboarding, travelling, road trips, cool stuff, food, TV, movies. Interests are like money - you can't have too many or too much.
I'd like to meet:
People who don't suck. Uhh.... wait a minute... that's not what I meant.
I love meeting new people so I won't be too picky (no ax murderers, please). I'm not really down with the whole internet dating thing, but if you're wicked hot by all means let's chat. But to actually name some people: Dolly Parton, Jerry Seinfeld, Agent Scully, the Geiko cavemen, the inventor of HDTV, and last but certianly not least, Jesus. Oh, and Stephen King.
Music:
I live for music, and I like almost all kinds. Garbage and Train are my favorites, and this great New Zealand band Opshop is a new favorite, as is the UK's OK Tokyo. I seem to like "alternative rock" more and more - My Chemical Romance, Taproot, Shinedown, Papa Roach, Blue October all have recent songs that I really like. Thank God that as I get older my taste in music stays young. The 80s should be blown up. Also I like some pop, country, metal, and classical. Rap sucks, and I ain't down with much hip hop. Fizzle THAT shizzle, biatch!!!I just made this playlist. They're not necessarily in any order, except that newer songs tend to be towards the top. And they don't have Opshop or OK Tokyo songs available (yet!). But now all of the stalkers can see exactly what I listen to, so they can try to get in my head.
Movies:
Contact, Signs, The X-Files, Alien, The Exorcist, The Shawshank Redemption, to name a few. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Money Pit, Team America, Independence Day are some more. I like serious movies the best (horror, sci-fi, drama), but I saw Team America in the theater more than any other movie cause it was f'n hillarious.
Television:
X-Files is the all-time best (actually it's tied with The Price Is Right), but LOST is the best show on TV today, and I'm completely hooked. Seinfeld, Cheers, MythBusters, Modern Marvels, Extreme Engineering,... I LOVE TV. Don't judge me.
Books:
These are pretty varied - Siddhartha, The Stand, Interview With the Vampire, The Hunt for Red October, The Iliad (although I've only been able to get through the "college" version). I find that Hemmingway sucked.
Heroes:
That's the toughest question in the world. My parents, of course; several friends along the way - anyone who's made me a better person by showing me a good way to live. Also rich people.
