About Me

NEW CD AVAILABLE OCTOBER 25th!!! CD RELEASE EVENT @ The Clubhouse Music Venue TEMPE, AZ
Valley roots rockers, TRUCKERS ON SPEED, announce the release of the band’s third studio CD titled To Fall Seven Times… at a special release event being held at The Clubhouse Music Venue in Tempe, AZ. The show for the Truckers’ highly anticipated release will be October 25th, 2008. This is an ALL AGES event and the doors open at 7:00 PM. The Clubhouse Music Venue is located at 1320 E. Broadway Rd. Tempe, AZ 85282
With the troubled state of our economy and the necessity to provide assistance to those in need,
TRUCKERS ON SPEED will be holding a food and clothing drive to benefit the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Phoenix. In conjunction with The Clubhouse Music Venue, donations of clothing, blankets, & non-perishable food items will be collected on site the evening of October 25th. For more information on St. Vincent de Paul, please visit http://www. stvincentdepaul. net/
TRUCKERS ON SPEED formed in 1996 as an acoustic duo in Seattle by two kids from Tempe, and for the lack of a drummer moved back to Tempe in 1998. Adding Mike Wood on drums and Aidan J. McSheffrey on guitar, we played as "SHOELESS JOE" for a little over a year in Tempe, Arizona. SHOELESS JOE released a CD with the songs HEART AT HOME and TALES OF A 25 YEAR OLD NOTHING which adorned the coffee tables of various party houses in Tempe, as coasters!. Aidan departed and Chad Hines quickly filled the role. While recording our first full length CD NO SENSE IN RUNNIN', SHOELESS JOE were threatened with a lawsuit (no shit) over the name. We felt we kicked enough ass to live up to the moniker TRUCKERS ON SPEED, and so it was! The second CD SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE was produced by CLARK RIGSBY who needed a vacation from real rock stars and slummed for TRUCKERS!!!
After ten years, three albums, and a few new members later....we are still alive & kicking! The band has teamed up with legendary Tempe music mogul TERRY GARVIN and have just completed our third full length CD "TO FALL SEVEN TIMES..." (check out the MySpace preview of our newest song's titled Pocyclypse & 42/40) Truckers on Speed are very thankful and happy for those of you who have joined us for the ride!!! -XOXOX TOS
