New York City nightlife knows that when one shouts Loca, theres only one possible response: Louis M. Loca. Raised in the Lower East Side and Puerto Rican by blood, Louis infamous nickname Loca goes as far back as his career in entertainment and nightlife. At a mere 15 years old, when others of the same age could only dream of getting into the hottest clubs, Louis M. was running them. The then androgynous teen, with a flamboyant shell and a straight-to-the-streets soul, made a name for himself by running the door at Café Con Leche, the legendary hot spot in the 90s frequented at the time by A-listers such as Madonna, Prince, Michael Douglas, Björk, Oscar De La Hoya, Fat Joe, La India and Rosie Perez, just to name a few.

Working his way up and getting schooled by mentors like Naudio Feliz and Joey Sheridan, Louis Loca M. had a first rate degree in Nightlife 101,after boosting Café Con Leche to the number one club hot spot in New York City. The party then released a CD compilation entitled, A Night at Café Con Leche, produced by BMG Music. Lending his vocals to the creative process, the compilation went on to top the charts, no doubt with the help of Louis Ms participation in the project.

Firmly embedded in his roots with Café Con Leche and continuing to celebrate multi-culturism and multi-sexuality, Louis M went on to lead his own entertainment company: Loca Entertainment. Christening it with the name that forever will be synonymous with Louis M., Loca Entertainments goal is to celebrate Latin culture through music, energy and dance. Branching out into the underground nightlife and promoting such parties as Factoria & Dulce Con Leche among others, Louis M. has represented over a decade of successful work with the Latin community. By endorsing and utilizing Latin culture and Latin music in his endeavors, he continues to create underground and cutting edge parties that offer a unique slice of New York like no else can do.

Starting his own ventures in 1999 with parties such as Locas Lounge, Locura Saturdays, and Fly Life, Louis M. went on to work on event planning and party promotions at such venues like Avalon, Quo, and Crobar. Subsequently, Louis Ms following became larger and larger and an instant success. It seemed there wasnt one night a week that a New York City event didnt have the Loca name tag on it. Expanding in the scene and growing as an individual, it was then Louis M. went on to launch Loca Entertainment, a full service entertainment, promotional, and management firm.

In the summer of 2001, Louis M. started Uncut at the legendary Stonewall nightclub 4 years and still pumping strong - multitudes attend from around the country to check out New Yorks widely popular Friday night which certainly continues to make noise in New York citys diverse club scene along with NYCs hottest DJs and performers. Quoted and mentioned in weekly write ups throughout various entertainment magazines, Louis M. and Loca Entertainment continue to set the standard in New York City nightlife. Nearly all who have graced the stage have been enticed by Louis zest for life. Even divas such as Judy Torres and Reina have been gracious enough to take the spotlight and share with the Loca Entertainment family.

In 2006, Louis M. expands his horizons with his weekly parties and one night events, event planning for industry clients and emerging artists, as well as, DJ Management companies. Working with clients such as KTUs Vic Latino, Jewelz Lopez, Judy Torres, Reina, DJ Tony Moran, DJ Beyond just to mention a few. Currently, he produces a monthly showcase at the legendary Nuyorican Poets Cafe with one of Loca Entertainments very own, recording artist and world renowned, dancer and choreographer, Anthony Rodriguez with his dance company La Santa Luz Dance Company performing with recording artists such as Veronica, Reina, Judy Torres, and the Cover Girls as guest performers.

It doesnt stop there! In the near future, Louis M. and his company will expand to accommodate and reach out to 5 million people via the New York radio airwaves, produce several concerts before the end of the year and is currently hosting as an emcee at events and clubs throughout the tri-state area. in addition to launching a newly revamped website in July 2006. However way you may be familiar with Louis M, either by having the honor of seeing him roller blade into your meetings or hearing the ring of his never ending cell phone calls, he most definitely is the promoter that gives it all. One thing is for sure- you can't ever forget Louis Loca!
