In 1996 Hard Science began his journey into the world of underground electronic music when he attended a First Friday held at N.C.'s legendary Babylon. From that moment on, he attended every event he could find becoming obsessed with and driven by the beat. Within a year he bought his first set of tables and never looked back. In 1998 he joined Hoodwink Records and would be an integral part of the infamous latenight parties thrown at Greenville's Elbo Room. Over the years he has been affiliated with Hoodwink, MADMIX, Kinetic Funk, and now with Gruv Glu Studios. Hard Science has held residencies at Aries,Enigma, Club Orion, Lucky's, and Sh-boom spinning hip hop to breakbeats to hard house. He has opened for Scott Henry, Hyper, Icey, Micro, Simply Jeff, DJ Spice, DJ Fixx, Rick West, DJ Volume and many, many more playing clubs all over the Southeast. With a love for all musical styles, you never know what he is gonna drop when he is on the decks.
