I am just as confused as the rest of you.

About Me

i guess i am seeking the light... hope to find it someday. RobE's ArtworkRobE was born and raised in Kalamazoo Michigan, and is the fourth child of David and Sharon Bartholomew. He was baptized Catholic, which his parents still practice to this day; in fact his father is a Deacon. At a young age, RobE felt more aligned with Eastern Ideas, and slowly began traversing away from the ideology of the Catholic Church. Spirituality and the understanding that leads to “the path” have become a central focus in his life, which is becoming more evident in his recent work. His latest exhibition, “Harmony & Rhythm; Experiencing Our Connection with the Universal Spirit” is a testament to the realization that regardless of the illusory differences we may perceive, we are undoubtedly connected to one another. Peace, love and compassion are qualities that everyone deserves, and are truly attainable through exploring spirituality. RobE believes that the church (regardless of denomination) or more appropriately the communion with the community can be a powerful assisting catalyst in the pursuit of one’s own spiritual path. After all, it is the exchange of ideas and the open minded-ness of tolerance that facilitate change. Only through change does one grow; mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. RobE has made many adjustments throughout his life, bringing him closer to understanding. Some adjustments he chose to make consciously, and some came by the way of the Spirit. He has suffered through various “sign posts” of physical, emotional and mental pain while on his journey towards peace. Although his journey is far from over, he is learning how best to acknowledge obstacles and understand how to avoid the difficulties that generally accompany them.
