Well this girl isn't just my girlfriend anymore she is now my fiance. I am getting married on June 28, 2008 and shortly after our honeymoon we will be going away to college in either Indiana or Florida. I am excited to start my life doing the Lord's work by preaching his Word. I can tell you that right now I couldn't be happier. I have the most amazing fiance by my side. She is everything I ever want and need. I love you so much babe. Thanks for just being you and makin me so happy. mwah! I am home from the long hospital stays. Iraq was scary and we always had to be on our toes. We got shot at a lot and things were very intense. God and my guardian angel were definitely on my side the night of Oct 25 when I got blown up by a roadside IED. I thanked God every day in the hospital for keeping me alive. The accident opened my eyes and made me realize how precious and important life is. Guys if you learn anything from me please know that life is so precious and God has a plan for your life. I am not trying to preach to yall but just know that there is a reason why we all our here. I will now tell yall about all my injuries. First of all my spleen was ruptured and removed. I have a scar of 29 staples down my stomach where they just cut me open to see what was bleeding. Every bone in the left arm was fractured except for the humerous. Every bone in the left leg was fractured except for the fibia. Part of left lower leg was blown off. My elbow was shattered. I fractured 4 ribs and broke my L4 which is a vertebrae in the back. My left ear drum was blown out and I had a contusion to the eye. I am fine and on my way home. Those of you that think this is such a tradegy don't look at it like that. This happens a lot to the people like myself who defend this country. So to my fellow troops out there Thank You and keep up the good work. I appreciate all of you and what you do. This is no joke people. Our fellow Americans are dying every day in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am not getting into a political battle, but this is real. Those of you that had me in your thoughts and prayers thank you so much. I felt them every day as I thought I had pain your prayers were knocking it out. I love yall. Keep your heads up and your eyes open cause you never know what is going to happen. So that was the injuries. I started therapy and I am gettin stronger every day from walkin so much. Things are lookin good so far. I may need another surgery on my elbow to prevent the bone from growin back.
