About the Artist; Who is Papo Kpuccino ? Papo Kpuccino El Mas Fino (Courtesy of New Latin Records,LLC / Pura Sabrosura Publishing) Papo is an artist, songwriter, producer, and promoter who brings his many talents to the world of urban latino music. Papo Kpuccino has been involved in the latin music scene for more than 10 years. The name Papo Kpuccino comes from his desire to identify with his Colombian roots. Papo Kpuccino started his involvement with Latin music at age 12. This is when he started playing percussion with several local salsa and merengue bands in Newark and later in Washington D. C. As his love for Latin music developed, he also developed an admiration for Reggae and Hip Hop. Some of his biggest musical influences have been; El General, Vico C, Busta Rhymes, Shaggy, Tego Calderon, and Master P. In 2004 Papo Kpuccino started compiling the songs for his album Sabrosura. He also met various producers which would help him develop his unique sound and style. Since Reggaeton is his main musical genre, he hired producer Dennis Nieves or El Maniako (credits: Tego Calderon, Trivales, Ivy Queen, Taino, etc.) to help mix and record the album. The other tracks were produced/arranged by Carlitos Wave, Iman, and Papo Kpuccino. The album was completed in December 2005 and is expected to be released in Spring 2006. In addition, Papo Kpuccino has performed in several nightclubs venues, festivals, and events such as; Carnival Miami Calle 8 2005, 2006 and the 2005 Billboard Latino Music Conference in Miami Beach.
