DJ VANNI aka CAMP
Camp is the new project from DJ Vanni. Musician, music producer and a pioneer in the Brazilian electronic music scene, Vanni is also part of the groups M4J, Lunatics, Los Brutos, Mob Players, Automan and owner of Tropic Records. The label was established in 1997 releasing 12”s and CD’s in Brazil, USA and Europe and was the first Brazilian label to embrace the digital revolution through Beatport.com.
Camp is a new electronic music Brazilian project, formed by Manoel Vanni ( myspace.com/djvanni ) and Marco Andreol. Producers of an innovating and very enthusiastic Tech House that combines minimalistic melodies, rough electro basses and a freeform rhythm structure. Some of the tracks are gloomy and trippy, others can catch the early nineties senses of euphoria. An album for divers dancefloors is coming up…
The new album “Camp” shows the new production directions Vanni is taking, presenting a melodic techno with groove, harmony synth lines and influences from House and Minimal Techno.
