I am going through so many different emotions right now. I experience love and hate, joy and pain, lust and envy, prosperity and poverty all at the same time. I work hard daily to be a stong, intelligent, educated, independent, self-sufficient woman of color to the world and a mother, mentor, friend, comforter and provider to my two girls and trust it is not easy being a single parent. But somewhere deep in my soul my mother planted a seed called endurance. I thank her for that with the tears I shed daily. I have grown so much over the last 3 years...some good and some bad and yet I continue to love me and everything in my life. I have learned that happiness can not come from another individual;it has to come from me. I still desire to have a companion that loves me unconditionally. I cherish every moment I laugh and cry because these emotions mean I am loved and I am hated. I use to acknowledge hatas but I was told by a wise woman that recognizing them was merely a waste of my time....which is way too valuable. But I will say this...sometimes people say things about me because they think I have something they want. When in reality they are too afraid to accept the fact that we are all beautiful and have a unique skill that can only belong to ourselves. I am beautiful in more ways than what appeals to the eye. My inner strength can not be removed know that!!!!!!
