* As I Remain are an unsigned metal band formed in the south of the UK. They play a mix of their own songs and some covers, which include KillSwitch Engage and Bullet For My Valentine. They have gigged frequently round the Romsey area and most notably The Lantern Theatre at the Mountbatten School. As I Remain are known for their extensive guitar parts, dual vocals and a crunching metal sound.
In 2007, As I Remain, (under the name Asphyxia) entered Battle of the Bands at the Mountbatten school. Reaching the stage of playing the Joiners, As I Remain landed a place in the finals where they played a 15 minute set that was recieived well.

Dave: I am Dave and I play lead guitar and sing/scream. I also write the foundations for most our music. I play a Gibson Les Paul Standard, Gibson LP double cut deluxe Fender strat, and an Ibanez s series. My favourite bands are: Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Slipknot, Bullet for My Valentine, As I lay Dying, Trivium, Stone Sour, Killswitch Engage and more. We usually practice at my house and played our first gig in my back garden.

Jon: Hi, im Jon. I play the guitar. I love playing guitars, its all I do. I especially love playing in As I Remain. I have an ibanez grg170dx, and a bc rich warlock. Im soon to get a Jackson rhandy Rhodes rr3 tho, so that will be awesome. My all time favourite band is Bullet for my Valentine and my hero/ god is Matt Tuck.
Ben: Im Ben and I play bass, do backing vocals, and write most lyrics for As I Remain. My main influences as a bassist are Nikki Sixx and Duff Mckagan. Lyrically, anything from the radio to anything on my i-Pod can influence me.

George: Hey, im George. Im the drummer for the band and i is lovin music!!! Playing in the band and just in general is all i do! At the moment i am grade 6 (working towards 7) and play a variety of styles - metal being my fave! I have many influences, the main ones being: THE REV (Avenged Sevenfold), Joey Jordison (Slipknot), and Moose (Bullet For My Valentine). In our music, i try to combine all 3 styles into one!
