About Me

Well i moved from Tennessee to Oregon two years ago and it is the best thing i have ever done! Although I am still a Southerner at heart, there is something comforting about waking up in the morning and deciding if you want to go to the beach, drive to the Redwoods, ski at Mt. Hood, Kayak the McKenzie, hike the lava beds, climb at Smith Rocks or just hang out in one of the most fertile, beautiful valleys in the world. The people are great too. Anything, and I do mean anything, goes. The pace is slower and the sky is a deeper shade of blue. The shoes I wear the most are my rubber boots. It's that kind of place. I enjoy making music with friends, especially at le casa del Random. I love to laugh and be as silly as possible. I love to travel and I love adventures, especially ones with high drama and DANGER. I've gotten myself into some rediculous spots in the worst places, but that's the fun of it right? Oh and the coolest thing that ever happened to me? That's easy. Recently (October 2005) me and two friends got a tip from some old deadheads that the pranksters were gonna push out the Furthur bus from the Kesey farm. We went to Ken kesey's house, where he is now buried, and with only about 30 other people got to push the old '39 International bus out of the swamp. I got to "get on the bus." Now if any of you understood a word of what I just wrote, then you will know how important that bus was and those people were. If you didn;t understand that, then go read the Electric kool-aid acid test.

The Blues Brothers, Waiting for Guffman, any Grateful Dead, Phish, or String Cheese show DVD, and Stop Making Sense (the Talking Heads)

Television:

kill it. go outside. take a walk. plant something. read a book. make music but, for the love of all that is Holy, don't watch t.v.. It rots your brain and makes you want things that you would never want otherwise and you think you have to keep spending all of this stupid money on stupid things that don't matter at all. there, i feel better now.

New Job!

I just got a new job. It is at an Organic greenhouse and nursery! woohoo! I am so excited. less working with pickypeople's eating habits and more working with plants!
