About Me

A few of the things i get asked mostI started training when i was 20 and yea i was a bean pole, for the first few years of training i had no idea what i was doing, i was getting stronger but not bigger. I was using every muscle gaining product on the market you know the ones, the weight gain 2000 sorta thing. Well that went on for a bit by the end of the year i was stronger and quite lean but no where near ripped so i went to a nutritionalist as i thought i was doing everything i could to put on weight and that i was scientific oddity.Well guess what nope it wasn't that, he taught me that weight training is 30% gym and 70% food you get out what you put in. By the time i was 22 i had managed to get to 14 stone and 8% bodyfat, i was doing a lot of what he told me but i was still missing meals and changing stuff about. Then i went off to Uni for 3 years and my training dipped a fair bit. My first year was a right off i couldn't find a training partner and when i did my heart wasn't in it, so when i came home in the summer i really went for it, i did my first course of gear and managed to get up to over 15 stone i wasn't very lean and i looked watery but i was a bit happier so when i went back to uni i tried to keep it goin. That lasted a few weeks then i got run over  That set me back a month but then i got back into it. The last 2 years of uni were a battle between the money to pay for food and stopping my flat mates eating it, trying not to go out every night and affording some gear.Once i finished Uni my training got worse for a year or so, i went travelling for a bit and found it hard to get a job, as most people knowing bodybuilding is expensive and its the first thing to go when you hit hard times.Things have changed in the last 2 years i have managed to stay injury free, (less ego lifting and correct form) now know the value of correct foods and bodybuilding has become a lifestyle for me not just a pastime. Thats what it needs to be if you are going to get anything from it, i'm not saying i'm a world better far from it but if you are serious about getting big then you have to live it. When i say BIG i mean not watery and not have a massive belly.Over the next 18 months i am bulking up and getting ready for my second show i learnt loads from my first one and i am going to build on that and hopefully do better. If you want any info or help on training feel free to message me and i will try to help you out in any way i can.
