GLEICHSCHRITT was founded in 2004 and is a DJ team of two friends on their musical path. The name is a symbol for going in the same direction and exploring the possibilities of fancy music. The two DJs have been into minimal techno & house music for a long time, and their open-mindedness and keen interest in various styles turns each of their gigs into a unique and smooth musical experience.
GLEICHSCHRITT started out playing in small pubs in and around Zurich, but quickly moved on to playing in well-known Zurich clubs such as Dachkantine, Hive (Resident), Q Club and Supermarket and other venues throughout Switzerland. They also had appearances at several underground parties as well as in Ibiza and Munich.
Recently, GLEICHSCHRITT won the “Best Newcomer DJ of the Year 2006†award at the annual Swiss Electronic Music Awards (SEMA)!
