Life Changing Opportunities

About Me

Projects Abroad:

We are the leading volunteer organisation in the United States, UK and Europe, sending over 3,000 volunteers a year to 22 countries on 100 general placements .
We customize our placements to suit each individual. You get to choose where you go, for how long, when you want to leave and when you want to return.
We have full-time, paid and trained staff in every destination. They are available for general advice and help, and are contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Whether you're teaching in a school for the poor in Latin America, or helping in a hospital in India, your talents will be used to the full, working on projects where you are really needed. And you don't need an armful of qualifications.
By going on a Projects Abroad placement, you are joining a community of fellow volunteers and local people in developing countries - working hard, traveling and having a good time while achieving worthwhile goals.

Projects Abroad welcomes anyone between the ages of 16-75 to apply for our programs. We love people who have a strong desire to travel, want to explore new cultures, learn about different societies, and expand their knowledge of the world.

For our younger volunteers, we arrange summer two-week specials that travel, live, and work together in groups. For those of you who can stay longer in-country, we provide all the tools for being successful in the cultures you immerse yourself in. Regardless if you stay two weeks or a year, Projects Abroad offers you the opportunity to experience changes within yourself while improving the lives of others.
