About Me

R.I.P Unsent Its Been a Good 4 Years, But Sadly It Has To End. All The Band Really Appriciate All The Support You've Gave Us Over The Last 4 Years. Sadly We Have All Decided To Go Our Serperate Ways... But Watch Out For Some New Bands!! Anyways Thanks Alot Guys. You Wont Have To Listen To Our Shite Again! Xx Love Unsent Xx We started out in 2003 and have had alot of member changes! Were really bad and have recorded a few realy bad songs, most are covers!== Band History ==Way back in 2003 is when they started out. We were a 'Youth Club' band at Weybourne Youth Club. They used to practise at the Youth Club in Weybourne with the help of two guys, John and Dustin! They picked out 5 people who could play basic things on instruments and tried to make a band. So they went down to the local Village Hall every Wednesday and they helped them work as a band. There was Oli Williams (Guitar), Brent Crouch (Bass/Vocals), Jamie Weston (Bass), Adam Davies (Guitar) and Ricky Weston (Drums). Starting out, they played songs such as 'Wild Thing' and 'Walk Don't Run'. But there was one song they always played, which is Nirvanas 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'. They started playing other songs like Linkin Parks 'In The End' and Wild Cherrys 'Play That Funky Music' but there was one thing they didnt have, and that was a name. So they held a competition at the Youth Club were the kids all put a name into a box and the one the band liked best was the bands name and the kid got a prize. Finally they chose a name called 'Frozen Flair' (Oli did think to call them Metal Varnish but it never happened). But after a few months of being together Ricky decided to leave and shortly after Jamie went aswell. So they had a band with three people and John and Dustin. The band looked as if it was finished, untill one of Adams old school mates Henri Lacoste (whos family members did own the company Lacoste) started playing drums. He played for a few weeks but he was at a bording school so he had to leave aswell. So they were really messed up. Just Brent, Oli and Adam. They lost contact with John and Dustin so there was no one to organise them. Then they lost Brent. He didnt want to do it anymore. Adam and Oli were left alone and didnt realy have a band anymore. But then Adam got two of his school mates Lewis Gray and Jacob Massicks to take over on Guitar and Bass and Oli decided to take over on Drums. Now the band was Oli Williams (Vocals/Drums/Guitar), Lewis Gray (Vocals/Guitar), Jacob Massicks (Bass) and Me (Guitar). They decided as it was a new band they needed a new name. After weeks of names, Lewis found the name 'Unsent'. They decided in the end that that was the new name, 'Unsent'. They started learning new songs like The Bloodhound Gangs 'Kiss Me Where It Smells Funny', Green Jellys 'Santa Clause' and Green Days 'Time Of Your Life'. They even tried to make their own songs. Oli made a song called TSS, Lewis and his brother wrote lyrics for about 6/7 songs, Adam made a song that Lewis and Oli put words to called 'Day Out' and then the other kids in Weybourne, including ex-bassist Jamie help Adam and Oli write a song called Squarehead. Unsent also had a song about a pigeon that was awful! But now they have Francis White-Robinson who is a DJ, and he has some recording equipment that they began to use. Slowly, they got the band sorted. During the summer of 2006, Adam, Oli, Lewis and a few friends went to Sheringham Carnival Battle Of The Bands to watch such great acts as SPOT and The Promise Mountain, when a dude from Adam and Lewis' year called Conor aproached them and said that he saw the advert we had put up in the Holt Chronical advertising for a new drummer. Have gave us his number and we then had a new drummer! Lewis and the band later parted. The band is still close friends with Lewis and hope to see him play with us again in the near future! Jamie later rejoined the band and made us a complete band! Unsent are now playing a few gigs and have a nice selection of their own material! They had their first proper gig at their old bassist (Jacobs) relatives brickyard. There was an audience of about 12 people, 2 of which where interested. They have also played a few gigs at Sheringham High School infront of 250 odd people. They are currently in the process of finishing off the material for their first proper album and hope to record it in the summer of 2007. They did write a song for Norfolks very own MC iPod, but due to him now being on a hiatus, that song has been put on hold. It wasnt very good anyway. Today Unsents line up consists of Oli Williams, Adam Davies, Jamie Weston and Conor Aherne.== Songs Unsents Tried To Cover: ==Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana Walk Don't Run - The Ventures Wild Thing - The Troggs Play That Funky Music - Wild Cherry In The End - Linkin Park Wipeout - Safaris Eye Of The Tiger - Survivor American Idiot - Green Day Santa Clause - Green Jelly Polly - Nirvana Kiss Me Where It Smells Funny - The Bloodhound Gang Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo - The Bloodhound Gang Time Of Your Life - Green Day Song 2 - Blur Louie Louie - The Kingsmen Staceys Mom - Fountains Of Wayne Crazy Frog - Axel F Boom Boom Boom - Vengaboys Come As You Are - Nirvana In Bloom - Nirvana Lithium - Nirvana== Songs Unsent Have Wrote: ==TSS Squarehead Olis Cock Olis Intro Day Out Through With You The Complication I Can't Be Waste Me Drink To My Valentine Yeah OK We Wanna Be Heights Dangerous Yesterday== Band Members (Current): ==Oliver Williams (Vocals) Adam 'Gay Shoes' Davies (Guitar) Jamie Weston (Bass) Conor Aherne (Drums)== Band Members (Old): ==Brent Crouch (Bass/Vocals) Ricky Weston (Drums/Vocals) Henri Lacoste (Drums/Vocals) Lewis Gray (Guitar/Vocals) Jacob Massicks (Bass) Chris Robbinson (Bass/Guitar) Sam Moore (Drums)
