Recently theres been this big stampede by the emo scene which is all fine and dandy but i've noticed that a lot have people have turned their backs on the bands and the music that first got their interests and bought them together, so i'd feel that i'd be betraying them if i jst listed whats the hot topic at the moment took the time to mention some of the real heroes out there. well back in the day my first love was definatley nirvana, 8 years old and my friends brother gave me all his nirvana albums i never thought it could get any better than this, that was just the begining. i like to thank my sister for not letting the pop music steal me away from whats real, she gave me a healthy doese of kerrang to read and this is kerrang in the glory age and not when they started writing about avril lavigne, 50 cent and the fuckin rasmus. anyway yeah marilyn manson, coal chamber, chilis,soundgarden, korn and various other classic bands kept me entertained. Junior shcool came to an end and secondary school saw me be a weird kid who listend to scary music that was until bout year 8 or 9 wen holy shit somone donned a a slipknot hoddy and i was no longer the weird kid listening to the scary music but instead being constantly accused of being a wannabe and trying to follow them. 2 years later they forgot their hoodies and went back to their dance music, however there were some still dedicated to the music that bought them together and our still my friends today. soooo thanks to; placebo, rage against the machine, less than jake, incubus, the bloodhound gang, the offspring, tool, hundred reasons, queens of the stoneage, metallica, slipknot (yes thats right i did say slipknot, they maybe one of the most hated bands out their but if u took the time to take ur head out ur ass and listen ud see that they are actually fuckin good),smahing pumpkins, pearl jam, no doubt, bush, blur, space, rachael fuckin stamp (its jst rachael stamp but they get a fuckin cus they're such legends), the beastie boys aaaaargh god this list is gonna go on forever so its gonna hav to stop. jst know that i like all different music im not jst a person who jumps from one fad from the other, ppl's tastes do change so dnt hav a go at them if they do happen to like a popular band, with one exception INDIE music fucking sucks, its the most boring music around, even the bands look bored performing it, and it gets so much airtime, all i see is the fuckin killers all day long. its horrible. some pics down below of some of the bands i listen to a lot at the moment. oh yeah also those arnt all the bands im in love with becuase i live for music as its all thats keepin me sane and probably insane as well (if that makes sense, which i dont think it does)
