Melissa

My name is Melissa Chan. I was born and raised in Hawaii. Took a detour from college going through Great Lakes, IL for naval basic training and corps school, Pensacola, Florida for aviation medicine school. Now, I'm stationed at Okinawa Japan- Marine Corps Air Station Camp Futenma. I work as a full-time active duty aviation med corpsmen. I consider myself to be observant, shy, spontaneous, hard-working, and an active person. Small goal-do well in the navy and get advanced. Big goals- get a bachelor's and find a career that'll make me rich so I can spoil my future. I love outdoor activities and the beach. I'm not a huge fan of malls but I do like to watch a movie every once in a while. Food is always great. I support my marines, sailors, soldiers, and other military personnel. Especially those who are deployed to the desert and active duty sacrificing what they got at home to be somewhere else. I hope to become a nurse and join the peace corps one day.
