Rosie Levina is a 23 Year old female rapper from north-west London, she goes by the rap name RL which also happens to be her initials. Aside from the fact that RL is her initials it also stands for REAL/ REAL LOVE. This describes her unique character and her mission as a rapper.
She started out at the age of 12 after watching the movie Sister Act 2, She was completely captured and inspired by the movie soundtrack and the way they took commercial musical beats and mixed it with an inspirational message.“I jus remember feeling like I want to be the one to bring that same feeling of REAL inspiration and LOVE to my peers. At the time rap music was seen to be the best way to communicate with every young person on this earth! So I tried it! After performing some lyrics I wrote to my brother he began encouraging me to do more as he believed I was a natural born rapper. This gave me a hunger and interest for the music business as a wholeâ€.Rosie Levina.RL wanted to be the type of artist who could go into a studio and know exactly what she was doing, involving herself with production and sound engineering. So as she ventured into the world of sound engineering, she ultimately earned me a National Diploma in Music Technology after majoring in subject like Audio Electronics, Music Productions, Music Awareness and Music Business.Today RL is a 2:1 Graduate in a Commercial Music Degree that she studied at Westminster University. As a member of the Musicians Union she has also achieved other things within the world of sound, recently engineered at the O2 Arena.As a musician her vision has evolved she intends to reach millions of people just by being REAL and letting everyone know what is real with no shame. If you listen you will find music represents the testimony of how far God has brought her and how he can do even greater things for you!
