While in Canada, music was always a part of the program at the school he attended. Keyboard lessons started at a fairly young age.

Being in Canada allowed 24/7 to be exposed to music coming in from America, as well as the electronic music sound coming from overseas and Canada’s French/English music scene.

With Canada taking in immigrants from many countries, 24/7 grew up with people of different colors and creeds, from many countries around the world.

Soon enough, he began to notice a certain style of music that was held in common by a lot of the international students he grew up with.

It was Hip Hop.

Students from all parts of the world – Haiti, Lebanon, Turkey, various African countries, and many others – all loved Hip Hop, and this began to influence 24/7.

After moving to America, he began to pay attention to Hip Hop even more than any other style of music. Eventually, he got himself a small mixer and began creating tracks at home.

After high school, he went off to college to enroll in a recording arts program, and graduated with a degree in Music Production Technology. He also earned a technical certificate in Audio Engineering, and graduated from his music production program with a 4.0 GPA.

He then took a year of electronics engineering courses, to learn more about the inner workings of the hardware and software that he uses to create his recordings.

This education enables him to not only create great tracks on a musical level, but also on a technical level – he is his own recording/mixing engineer.

Since graduating, 24/7 has been able to find his sound, and can produce tracks not only for Hip Hop artists, but for Pop and R&B singers as well. He has also produced and engineered songs for up and coming rock/punk bands.

Curious about the name? One day, someone mentioned to him that he seems to have music in is head ALL THE TIME. Constantly tapping out a beat, always nodding his head to a rhythm, it seemed that it was in his head 24/7....thus the name.

He eventually linked up with two other producers in Orlando, FL to form the Mensa Projekt. To hear some samples of his work, listen to the tracks in the Mensa Projekt music player below.
