Music is my life. It is who I am. I live and breathe it. I am a songwriter with Baby Gray Publishing Company in Nashville. I'm in a Pop/Rock duo called The Remedy, and also in the studio working on a solo project that I am really excited about. I've been writing in the studio alone and with other musicians,learning to be patient and to press forward, and I really feel that anything is possible for those who actually believe in what they are doing. I get such a free feeling when I sing. When I unlockd my heart and let the world hear what's inside, it's the most freeing feeling in the world.
I'm always looking for new musicians to write with. It's rewarding to see what the two of you can come up with after putting your ideas together. What I'm really into is writing pop/rock melodies with a bit of edge to it. I guess you would find my music more on the alternative side. I do enjoy writing pop country music and have had a lot of experience and fun doing that as well. If you told Sara Bareilles, Kate Nash, and KT Tunstall to go into a room and sing whatever they wanted to.. you'd probably get a Khara Lord song! ;)
I love life, and love to love. I love to be around people who love to laugh. Life isn't always perfect, but when you get to fingure it out with other people you love and care about..it's worth it. Grip the mic and LOVE this life!!!!!!
