Excited as a child when the first snows fall...

About Me

I'm of Hawaiian/Chinese decent with a bit of Cherokee Indian, German and Welsh/Irish thrown in for good measure. Some people used to call me "Punky Brewster" when I was a kid (and still do, on occasion). --- I have a younger brother, Michael (who I wish I could see more of.) --- I have a wonderful husband, Jim Johnston (a.k.a. "Goofball"), and we have a gorgeous 3 year old daughter, Magnolia Breeze. Since Jim and I met through friends at a Grateful Dead cover band in Nashville called Dead Set, we thought it was only fitting to name our daughter after one of our favorite songs, "Sugar Magnolia". --- Jim and I are currently planning some redecorating/renovations to our home and that takes up a lot of our time when we're not chasing little Maggie around. --- I'm finally getting my act together now so I can go back to college Fall 2007. I'm planning to major in Plant and Soil Sciences at MTSU and one day work for an organic farm or better yet, own one myself with a few horses out in the country somewhere. --- Whenever I get a moment of free time, I love doing Kundalini Yoga, reading a good book, or hanging out with my friends and family. I also love going to see live music whenever I can, especially Widespread Panic. To date, I've seen 15 shows and still I keep going back for more!! --- Based on my choice of music and friends over the years, I think that it's only fair to say that I'm a very old soul. I mean, I've gotta be a reincarnated hippie somewhere down the line!{{ A SIDE NOTE: If you want to request me as a friend, send me a personal message first. I won't accept people I don't know. Thanks!! }}
