I was born in 1239, and I became king in 1286. I had two wives, and total had 18 children, one of them being gay, which i am sorry to say ended up being my successor. I was named after Edward the Confesser, a former king that my father liked. Before I became king, I fought in the battle of Lewes under my father, Henry III, against Simon De Monfort. He won, unfortunantly; i charged his baggage train and slaughtered many men, while up in the main battle my father was being defeated and was captured. I was pretty dissapointed in that. The whole Scotland dispute came along when my son was supposed to marry the 6 year old Margaret of Scotland after the death King Alexander III. Margaretdied on a ship wreck while going to her coronation, and their was no other heir, so after disputes, i claimed the throne of Scotland. There was revolts, and William Wallace led the greatest against me, and made me very angry. I finnally defeated him, and I became known as the "Hammer Of The Scots".
