About Me

I'm living in South Korea for the year teaching English to cute little kids. I already love Seoul immensely and am loving my life!
Aside from what I'm doing with my life: I am a lover of little kids, politics, women, and the occasional mild mannered cat (my cat is exempt from this...) I love to debate policy issues with people who know what they are talking about, and I find a good sense of humor to be imperative in a well rounded person!

My Interests

chocolate, the New York Times, crossword puzzles, latin music, politics, law, femme women, the occasional good cold beer, hiking, working out at the Y, steam rooms and saunas, traveling all over the world, sushi, gay rights, watching french movies.

I'd like to meet:

Larry David, and/or anyone else who has a way with sarcasm and wit. And Barack Obama, this video is amazing:

Excellent speech

Wow, this is one of the most compelling speeches I've seen in a while.  This union organizer understands the race/class connection.  Watch the whole video.  Trust me, you will be impressed!  And moved...

A Link to My Other Blog

So I have created a blog on blogspot.com to keep everyone updated on my life in Seoul.  This blog actually allows me to download videos that I've taken, whereas the Myspace blog does not. So...

On the Randomness of Seoul

Wow.  The 20th  of August will mark a whole month of living in Korea.  Let's see.  I guess there is quite a bit to say for my part.  I haven't written anything since before I ...

Thoughts on change and moving

Tonight I had a long, very insightful, and fulfilling conversation with a good friend of mine.  She is a mom that I met through the YMCA.  I've known her family for 5 years; went to the beac...

On moving on

I just bought a nice Cannon digital camera for my upcoming trip.  One would think electronics would be considerably cheaper in Asia, where most of them are made.  But my brother tells me tha...

Graduation ruminations....

I often speak of my life in segments.  As if moments from years ago were previous lives of mine.  Sometimes they feel that way.  Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about my life and ...

Obama and Clinton: together??

Today when I was leaving Earthfare I noticed a headline in the NYT paper that caught my attention and forced me to pick it up.  It went something like this, "dems try to dispel talk of a "dream t...

on Obama, Korea, and finishing school

Larry David is stumping for Obama.  And if you don't know who he is, well then, you need to work on your sense of humor.  He's been packing college's in swing states more than Obama himself....

The Juggling Act

"Jesus Christ you are probably the most busy person I have ever met.  This can't be good...can't you slow down a bit and take a break?"  This question was directed at me two days ago ar...
