"The first musical guest was a singer/ songwriter named Femke Weidema. Though her primary sound might be best described as "Folk Rock", I was hard pressed to come up with a "comparable act". Her act went from a playful poesy reminiscent of Jewel, but could roll into an edgier song (A La Janis Joplin... almost) with the strum of a chord. McFunny indicated that Weidema came from the farthest away out of all of us... but if she's anywhere near your neighborhood, she needs to be checked out."

Femke Weidema is a young Singer Songwriter that studies at the Berklee College of Music. The last few years she been writing for musicals, individual artists and labels, and recorded 3 solo albums a single and a videoclip. This year she won the Berklee Songwriting Contests, and performed in the Netherlands, Germany, England, and the USA.
Femke now lives in LA where she works as songwriter, she is signed with Strengholt Publishing and writes for Damien S, Andy J, Sven van Hees and many more.
As a solo performer she has already toured California and was the opening act of Nikka Costa. Stay tuned!!
