The great thing about liking the bands i do at least one of them are up at all times of the day.
You know something sad? Out of all the shows i've been to i've never met the band. I don't really know what i'd say. There's the typical "Your show was awesome!" and "What's it like to be on tour" or "i love you guys so much". I'd want to have a real conversation with the band but i don't know what i'd do or say. So i guess i just kind of bugger off and hold my head in shame while being super happy i went to such an awesome show.
Hell one time when i was waiting to see sister machinegun in Portland my friends and i were just sitting around waiting because we showed up way too early and we'd never been at the venue before. Unbeknownst to us two of the members sat right next to us and asked if we were here for the show. We said yes then kept talking quietly to ourselves. When we saw them get on stage we just kept hitting ourselves in the backs of the heads for not talking to them more. Horray for being uncomfortable.
