Were San Francisco's Burning. We started this band in early April of 2006, going by the name of Ending the Final Chapter, with Dan Menezes on the mic, Josh and Tom on Guitars, Joey C on drums, and KRAZY kraus on bass. We recorded our first song ever, self titled tragedy, and played our first show in someones, house!!! We realized we where going nowhere. We wanted to be unique, be something out of the ordinary so we recruited Joe Baranoff alongside Danny on vox.
Due to some personality clashes, and a very big miss understanding Danny left the band. So we got Nico Longobardi on vox with joey do to the low growls Danny used to provide. Again due to personality clashes Nico left the band, and we finally got Danny to join back in!!
We played our first real show with this lineup at "Porky's" and we felt we were missing something. Presence is what it was, Josh and Tom are rocking out but were restrained by difficult guitar parts, theres only so much a drummer can do, and the complicated sporadic vocal parts where very hard to maintain well having great presence. Fortunately for us there was a really cool kid in the crowd that night at Porky's, his name, Connor McKay. Known for going crazy on stage we instantly brought him in to the ending the final chapter family. We also then realized our name was just...gay. So we came up with San Francisco's Burning.
We then headed to the studio. We recorded an old version of the song "What Is Today If Not Tomorrow" With Joe. IT was only half done when Joe had decided he had enough. He left the band and it was just Danny. We Realized low growls wouldn't do it we needed someone that could do it all. Maintain a Presence, sing, scream, and growl. We happened to be friends with Tom Haas. He was in the band Adelpha, but he said wanted to be in a hardcore band. Before we knew it he was our vocalist alongside Danny.
We debuted Tommy at our Grist Mill Cafe Show. That was a great night. Danny didn't feel right with out his best friend Joe Baranoff alongside him. So he left and it was just tommy.
Finally we wrote some new material, and released our first demo "the Return of Barbie" recorded by Eric of Enemy Inferis. Since then we have had the honor of playing with many good bands, and having some great shows. In a recent battle of the bands we placed third! Against such bands as StageCoach Under Fire, The Murder and The Harlot, Through Enemy Eyes, and Mission Failed. We are recording an E.p now and it its expected to be out late may. So be on the Look out and hopefully well see you at some shows!
Oh and were getting more shirts soon! and More news!!!!! Tom Haas and Connor mcKay have left the band. They Were soon replaced by the Assante Brothers, and we would like to announce that after getting piss drunk at a male strip club/gay bar, we met evan.And decided to give our close friend/stripper a guitar. And here we are!!!
