I guess this is where I'm supposed to tell you all about myself...not my favorite thing to do, so here goes...My entire life I have loved music, and loved to sing. I started singing in choirs in elementary school, and continued through college. During my sophmore year of high school, I began teaching myself to play the guitar (um, yeah....still workin' on that one). I went on to study vocal music in college and eventually got a degree in music education. Now I am teaching elementary general music, a middle school guitar class and a middle school choir. My main goal is to expose all of my students to music that will never be heard on top 40 radio, and hopefully encourage a few to realize that there is music out there that is really good if they just expand their horizons a little.
