My Interests

dancing (any and all kinds!!), iyengar yoga, skiing&snowboarding, good movies, good music, good people.

I'd like to meet:

good people with big hearts and open minds, fellow designers/small business owners, old friends, new friends

Music:

dnb (roni size, omni trio, kosheen, bukem, adam f...) other electronicy stuff like the orb, portishead, lamb, the cinematic orchestra, old school funk, soul & hip hop, world fusion, dub, reggae and ska, old jazz & blues (1920's-1960's), 50's/60's rocknroll and pop...if it's got heart and soul, chances are i'll like it!

Movies:

the straight story, baraka, the godfrey reggio trilogy, waking life, spirited away, edward scissorhands (most tim burton films for that matter), triplets of belleville!

Television:

don't have cable now, but i sure do miss the discovery channel.

Books:

memoirs of a geisha, waiting for the barbarians, catcher in the rye, the little prince, hitchiker's guide to the galaxy. plays by ibsen, g.b. shaw, arthur miller, & aboriginal playwrights like thomson highway. for coloured girls who've considered suicide when the rainbow is enuf by ntozake shange. utne, ode and ascent magazines.

Heroes:

mom, dad, and sis.
