Alright, if you know anything about music videos and how much they cost to produce, you know that $1,500 - $3,000 is nothing at all. But I have been researching and Speaking with many DPs( director of photography) for some time now, and I think that I have a good work around for that type of budget to get a decent music video. Obiviously the closer you get to the $3,000 the better the outcome, but can't go any lower then $1,500.
There is also a possibility that we can shoot on 16MM Film for your project on that Budget. So you ask How is this possible?Well one, my crew and I don't get paid obviously, we are going to put that money directly into the equipment props and location. My DP will rent the equipment from equipment houses that he knows and have worked with in the past. My Producer and I are going to ask for favors from our club promoter friends with beatiful clubs, and other working industry professional friends to help us with location probs, etc. Most of my crew will work on a pro-bono rate. The Editor (probably the most important person in this biz) will work for peanuts, probably for free. We have made a lot of friends from PAID work that we have done around the City and in the Industry. So you can benefit from our network of professional friends. The point is you need a video and we need a REEL-a REEL? whats a REEL?(collection of work(videos) that shows we are the SHIT!excuse my German L.I.L Laughing In Low)We don't travel to you on this type of budget, so find a MAP of NYC (New York City). Get on a bus, call a cab, walk, run, jump, Ski, Horse back ride, Bike, Roller Skate, take a plane, piggy back ride, swim, crawl, tippy toe, but just get here. Can we see something you've done?
Y...Yes. goto www.youtube.com/sanstorm321
Music Videos on that site are:
Precise "It is what it is"
B'Clay "Sweet Mama" - showcase not a real M-Video
Well...It's not the quality we're looking for.
Huh I wonder! what do you expect from a $150.00 budget video, Hype Williams?I'm Interested what do I do next?
Sent me a message from this site.
I will reply withan email address that you can sent your music to. Once we get the music, we will listen to it and come up with a Treatment, a treatment, what's a treatment (a nice story that we come up with that compliments your song) for example. USHER walks through the doors of the club, which is lit with sparkling blue, green, and cyan flashinging lights and is being greeted by two extremely beautiful females. He signals to one of his boys that he's in da building and the party is on. The camera slowly pans left to catch the wishful faces three other females wishing they could be the two girls at the door. --- You know something like that.
If you like the treament, then we set up a meeting or phone conference to discuss final budget and date of production. Now important to note, we are not on myspace every second checking our messages, so if you are interested, please make it a point to reach out to us. twitter directorharryb, facebook harrysando.I wish you well and come on guys and girls, we can help each other get to where we all want to be, and that's at the TOP.
You can't get to be Hype Williams, X, Chris Robinson over night, or if nobody is willing to give you a chance. I've done my research and have the ability and resources so give me that chance and I gurantee, that you won't be dissapointed.
THESE ARE SOME OF THE MOVIES OR TV SHOWS THAT I HAVE WORKED ON AS A PRODUCTION ASSISTANT. 2006 MOVIE POSTERS ARE NOT YET READY, SO STAY TUNED.I edited my profile with www.monroviapictures.comI edited my profile with LIBERIA'S FINEST DIRECTOR

CNN's Christian Purefoy reports on the Nigerian film industry's efforts to tackle piracy.
This one is for all of those struggling filmmakers out there who like to talk S--T about African Movies. You have to remember that humble beginnings always yield big dividents(somebody do a spell check for me) anyways. remember that Hollywood and Bollywood had to start somewhere and get to where they are now. Only time will tell when you
