London based DJ Nick Pryce is regarded as one of the most exciting and talented names to hit the clubbing scene in the recent years. He has shaken up every aspect of house music he has played since he put a start to his life in music. At the end of 2005 – a year after he first laid his hands on a pair of decks he secured a monthly residency in Fabric (DTPM's Electric Loft). When he gets behind the decks he has the ability to take the crowd on a different kind of journey. Nick is delivering sets that range from deep house to wonky techno.
Whether you catch him spinning in big clubs such as Fabric, Pacha, or The Egg or in a small underground venue in Shoreditch, he's guaranteed to have you wrapped around in his distinctive sound, and before you know it this unique and intelligent blend of music will take you places you've never been before. Nick was first introduced to djing when he was 7 years old and grew up surrounded by the vast music collection of his father who was a DJ back in the 70's and 80's. But it wasn't until he was 26 that he started devoting all of his attention to it. His selective and demanding ears set to become his most trusted allies. Five months after he started mixing he got his first gig at The Edge in Soho, which turned into his first residency.Now 4 years down the line after residencies and gigs in most of the respected venues Nick is working with CDC Promotions and East Londons Sunday morning Insomnia After Party , his career is steadily progressing and besides enjoying every minute behind the decks in his DJ schedule he is set to focus on producing his own music.Some of the past, present and future residences, gigs and venues include:• Fabric (DTPM)
