About Me

I completed my Master's Degree from the University of Houston @ Clear Lake in History last Spring. I am in the process of learning German, French and Italian because I would like to get my Ph.D in History and concentrate in European history. To study European history, you have to master at least 2 European languages. I choose to learn and study 3. My plan for next summer is to travel to Germany for more than a week and travel all throughout the country. I was there back in December 2000 for one day in Lubeck for the Christmas Holiday. Eventually, I would like to go back to Europe and stay longer {in the following countries: Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Scotland, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Poland. I have three nephews ages 7,5 and 2! I love to eat at Taco Bueno when I am traveling up into North Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Hopefully, one day I would like to live in Germany because of several reasons: people buy food, fruits, vegetables, and other things in an open market environment in every city where people actually talk, converse and socialize with everyone -- That is cool. unlike in America where one has to go to either Wal-Mart or their local grocery stores for food. For great coffee I go to Diedrichs here in Houston!!!!! Sadly, the Diedrich's I have attended the last 7 years in Clear Lake closed down, but there is still one more on Montrose Street. Every chance and time I am in the area, I stop by, buy a cup of coffee and read, or study German.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

One person in particular has made an impact upon my life and motivated me to never quit, but overcome real hard and large obstacles. This person is Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger who was a walk on at Notre Dame after going to Holy Cross for a number years to raise his GPA {This happened to me back in the spring of 1994 when I attended South Plains College for a year and half where I was able to transfer to the University of Arkansas in the fall of 1995}. Rudy received his acceptance letter to the Notre Dame where he maintained his GPA, but achieved his ultimate dream of playing football there -- something he held on to since he was a little kid. A movie was made and released in 1994 chronicling his journey. In my movies section, I list about 6 movies that I loved and think are the best made of all time! The first one is of course Rudy!June 10 will be one day I never will forget for two reasons. First off, I actually got to shake hands and have my picture taken with Jane Seymour. The second reason is that I saw Jeff Dunham in Houston! WOW! What a hell of a show!!! That guy is talented and kicks major ass!!! I did not get to take pictures, but just seeing him in person was good enough! I will post the pictures of Jane Seymour later, but here is a picture of Jeff Dunham with Peanut, Walter and Jose. I got to see Achmed (a suicide bomber) that is a skeleton. Funny!!!My University of Arkansas Graduation Ring!
