If I were to use one word to define who or what I think I am, I think the most appropriate word would be: Ghoulish. I have this very bad habit of scaring people away. I don't even do it on purpose. Scaring people and weirding people out is something that seems to come natural to me. I guess you can call it a gift. I used to be bothered by this unique talent, but honestly, I really don't care at all about that anymore because I know that there is nothing wrong with me being myself and I pity those who refuse to even try to understand me or accept me for who I am.
I have very few friends and I often tend to keep to myself. I think I'm something of an anti social shut in. And again, I really don't mean to be that way. I really do wish I were more social and had more friends. But alas, some of us unfortunate dark souls are cursed to walk alone in life. And the sad truth is, I'm pretty convinced that I'm one of them. But I really can be a very nice and friendly person, at times--to those whom I fancy in some way.
I am a mild mannered lunatic. I am slightly obsessed with the night sky. I am in love with the moon and the stars. When the weather is warm I like to sit outside on lawn furnature sometime after midnight so I can moon bathe. I wonder if anyone besides me and the Addams family actually does this. I also love thunderstorms, cemetaries, haunted places, forests, lakes, mountains, deserts, historical places, museums, and a bunch of other weird stuff that I can't think of at the moment.
I am a recent college graduate. I have a BS in Music History & Literature. Music is one of my main passions in life. It truly is my lifeforce and it is what makes me whole, or mostly whole. I am a classically trained singer. I've sang in a few different choirs, and my vocal range is soprano 1. I also play piano and though I'm really not bad at all at it, I admit that I do not practice nearly as much as I should. I also play the celtic harp, which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful sounding instruments in the world.
In case you haven't noticed, I am quite well spoken, and of course, also well written. My best friend is often in awe of my immaculate writing and speaking abilities. Sometimes I wonder if maybe in my past life I was someone like Elisabeth Barret Browning or one of the Bronte sisters. Did I mention that I love literature? I have many interests and I like to keep myself well rounded and cultured. I hope you do not think of me as arrogant. I swear that I am not a snob. In fact, I really am quite reserved and modest.
I am a Celtic Pagan. I have been practicing Celtic Druidism for the past 5 or 6 years. I feel a very strong connection to the earth and my patron deity is the Mother Goddess.
