About Me

Keith Mitchell Band has been around for less than four years, but they have become one of the most successful country acts to come out of the D/FW metroplex in quite some time. Their performances are so versatile and polished, that it's truly one of the best shows that you will ever see. Playing everything from their own originals, contemporary country, classic country, Texas R & B, to rock, they offer something for anyone who appreciates great music. Keith was voted Male Vocalist of the Year in 2004 by the prestigious Terry Awards. They went on to be named Entertainer of the Year in 2005; as well as each member being nominated for awards in their own individual categories. This year in 2006, they accomplished what no other act has ever done in the 29 year history of the Terry Awards. They won Entertainer of the Year for the second consecutive straight year. Now with 2007 coming to a close, they raised the bar once again, by winning Entertainer of the Year for the third year in a row. Gold and multi-platinum artists like Lonestar, Ty Herndon, and Ricky Lynn Gregg all won this award in the past. That's why it's easy to see what a major testament to this band's talent it is to be the first act to win it in back to back years. They are constantly working with national acts all over the country. This year alone, they have been called upon to open for Dwight Yoakam, Jason Aldean, Robert Earl Keen, Emerson Drive, Sawyer Brown, and Chris Cagle, just to name a few. They played the prestigious American Cancer Society Cattle Barons Gala in Tyler, TX this past summer with Darryl Worley. The band was such a hit, that the ACS immediately booked them for next years event in 2007. They have performed at numerous private functions for everyone from Microsoft to the Major League Baseball Managers Meetings this year alone. They were also asked to play at this years national Showtime convention in dallas, with Sheryl Crow. They're PROUD endorsers of such great national products as Roper Footwear and Apparel, Stetson, Mossy Oak Western Apparel, Saguaro West Leather, Taylor Guitars, Blade Guitars, and Pro-Mark Drumsticks. These outstanding companies have seen the potential in this talented group of musicians. With their much anticipated album being released later this year, it's only a matter of time before this band moves on to the next level of success. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out while they're still around the area on a regular basis. Get this FREE MySpace layout and more at MySpaceOrYours.net
