Coach Beagle brings over 50 years of coaching experience to the Baruch program. He has coached over 5,000 games from little league to college.He started the Baruch program in the fall of 1969 and served as head coach in 1970.He has been general manager in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, which is sponsored by Major League Baseball and has been a "Bird Dog" for a major league team.Over 200 of his former players have gone on to play professional baseball and over a dozen have reached the major leagues. More than 20 of his former players are coaching at the high school and college level and several are Major League scouts.Beagle is a member of the Catholic High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame and will be inducted into the New York State Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in March, 2006.
