Road trips! Music Writing Reading Poetry. All my many animals. My new house in the woods and my job (which pays for my new house in the woods).
My heritage, Cherokee. I love to go to Pow Wow's (yes, real ones).
I collect horror movies and dolls. I crochet, and am a football and hockey freak. I know, it ain't right.

The Perfect Man
My music has always been the loud banging noises that my friends make!

Horror, Western, Classics, not always in that order. The Crowe, Tombstone (why Kate, how lewd!) and Thunder Heart - love Val Kilmer. Wyatt Earp, Lonesome Dove, Dances with Wolves, anything with vampires.
Steve McQueen movies - Nevada Smith and of course Bullit. Love all those cool old guys, Steve McQueen, Peter Fonda, Clint Eastwood (who is still looking cool in his 70's by the way).
One day they're going to make a western horror/vampire movie with fast cars and motorcycles and I'll be in heaven (Dusk to Dawn came close).
LOVE all those old lost love movies with huge dark mansions and sweeping winds on the moors. I was born WAY too late. Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights are probably my favorite.
House, Bones, Prison Break (good God!), Criminal Minds, FOOTBALL by God! Love my Falcons (I know, I can't help it) and the Steelers, oh and the Packers. I try to love the Raiders still but it's hard sometimes. If only Kenny Stabler was young enough to play again.
Horror, mystery, true crime. Too many to name. Currently re-reading Bag of Bones: Stephen King. The Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe.Brams Stoker's Dracula (I have an ancient hardback, it rocks!)OK, OK, so I'm a little dark around the corners!!
My Dad, who always does the right thing. Isn't he handsome! This is 1952, on his way home from the army. That box in his pocket is a gift for my mom. I still have the gift and the box.
New restored image of my Dad. Thanks Derek Brown. It's awesome!!
My Mom and her sisters.
My cousins and every other diligent caregiver in the world.
And all of the others I've lost lately and miss.
My best girlfriends because we've been through SO much together, good and bad.
My friend Mikey because he's strong and eloquent, adores his family, and he's the best rock and roll preacher I ever heard.
And I've decided lately that my heroes are anyone who can take on an impossible situation and hold their heads high and walk on through it. Have you checked out Steve Irwin's daughter, Bindi? She's 8. 8 people! And spoke at his memorial service and is still speaking like a grown up with her head held high. You can say grown ups told her to all day long but that comes from inside her. Hello! Did I mention... she's 8!
Grace under pressure people. That's what it's all about.
