making a good compilation is a tricky business...

About Me

Optimistic and hard working...
Loving life and all the great bits it has to offer...
... often found jumpin'bout...

My Interests

:: extreme mountain biking
:: beautiful design
(on paper and in rooms)
:: clunky-knackered old vw's
:: day-dreaming
:: being very good.............

I'd like to meet:

:: Confident and optimistic people who are not up thier own ass!
:: happiness
:: can you make a decent cocktail - even more important - are you good at drinking the said-cocktail?
:: People to go hullin-it down steep hills about the south downs (I'm a kona stinky pilot - if ya dont know what one of them is dont bother getting in touch [i'm also a self-confessed bike snob])
:: underground bassline riiiiiiiinse'ers...

Music:

Right now i am enjoying a bizarre trip down memory lane... digging out my old vinyl from my hard-bstad-indie-kid/king days... think Lawnmower Deth and Babes In Toyland (on green vinyl baby.... yeah)... but also a bit of Hot Chocolate for smoochin' wiv!!!! Until the above revalation, however, my boat was being floated by da freestylers but i'm also still stuck in a decade-war as i have been known to spend obscene amounts of cash on old 'arcore rave tunes from 1989-93. But i also love other diverse stuff that encompasses Velevet Underground, King of Leon, Billie Holiday and other cool stuff. and you MUST go check sons of noel and adrian (although they'll probably hate me for telling you about them!!!)Horrray for them - its about time Brighton gave the world a band that is not the everyday-pop-toss-bunch-of-jumped-up-mincey-cliche-utter-utt er-utter-wank.
OH YER... JUST DONT LET pop music, anything by u2 or any other cliched 'great new bands' anywhere near my ipod!!!!

Movies:

on a anti-hollywood vibe, anything by the coen brothers. my all time fave film is Martha, meet Dan, Frank and Lawrence. (brilliantly rubbish low budget filmfour offering, with twisty and tear-jerky bits)
But that french chick in 'the ninth gate' has the best pair of spanner-eyes i've EVER seen....

Television:

not unless scrapheap challenge is on....
or grand designs....

Books:

the letraset catalogue, circa 1988 anything that features (excuse the predictability) the WHYNOT ASSOCIATES or NEVILLE BRODY (remember him???), wallpaper, pol oxygen

Heroes:

my parents and alberto giacometti and mint sauce

My Blog

the F PROJECT project

for those that know... listen. for those that dont... stop reading now. not content with completing my dreamscape 4 : dj hype set list on vinyl, i have set myself a new mission. to acquire all the f-p...
