Tune Variations That Make You See

About Me

It was 1995 that I decided to create my own music label: electronic classical music. You see, at the time I found it really interesting to do classical music with a help of computer. As the music trends rested on techno, trance, house and other drum&bass stimulated music labels, the interesting part of that project was that I would create quite an opposite.
It's rather funny now that I remember I've got only Win95, Midisoft Studio 4.0, Vienna Soundfont Editor 1.0 and a special keyboard to insert midi installed. The soundfont synthesis was also quite primitive then, so please, do not laugh while listening!
During 1995-99 I finished 56 tracks which I included at free self released album 'The Eight Suites'. As you read this, you are welcome to hear out one track from the eight suites (Druid), one other and two medleys mixed later as special projects.
I'm quite proud that I was able to find good enough choir vocals for such a spiritual piece of music as 'Egyptian Medley' definately is. It's full of legends about the nearly forgotten Two Lands. We can only guess how the ancient Egyptian music sounded and search for clues in Egyptian etno that was mixed with Arabic subcultural influences during the centuries of the rise of Islam.
The other piece, I've named it Raven's Blood, is an old notation that I thought I could improve it to sound better if I introduce it as variations for strings. I do think that piece is one of the greatest notations of the '90. It's oriental and blood thirsty. The legend of the west with gothic and east with pre-antique combine in a sound of the legend of the raven that sheds a drop of blood to save a human from damnation of eternal bleeding.
The last added piece - Ravenloft Medley - consists of some extracts from an old video game called Ravenloft - Strahd's Possession. Enter the castle of Count Strahd only at daylight, but beware of his minions that lurk from the shadows of the dark corners of the manor. They may not be interested in you while you walk the corridors, but they will wound your neck if you loose them from your sight!
