I'm a session musician and university student at Kingston University, London. I am well aware that this is a rather unorthodox method of advertising myself as a session musician, and those who know me would say that such behaviour is uncharacteristic of me but needs must. I have made the executive and possibly unwise desision to "get with the times" and accept "Myspace" as a method of networking. I can also do solo shows of covers, though I am in the process of writing some songs.In terms of session playing a am looking for gigs at the moment so I would be very grateful if I could network with employers and possibly get some commissions. My main instruments are: Electric bass (fretted and fretless), double bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, banjo, Piano and singing. But I do also play Mandolin, I am also a keen Tibetan Throat singer but that's just a passtime.Instruments: Basses: Yamaha RBX765A (tuned EADGC, fretted), Fender 60's Jazz Bass (fretless, 4 string), Epiphone Thunderbird (fretted, 4 string). Guitars: Line6 Variax 500*(plus Variax Workbench), Washburn Electro-acoustic. Piano: Casio Privia PX 100. Other: Fender FB-54 5 string Banjo, Lorenzo Electro-acoustic Mandolin. Equipment: I use Rotosound and D'Addario strings, Dunlop Plectrums banjo picks and capos, a zoom 505II guitar effect unit and Ashdown Amplification. *Which can sound like numerous different electric guitars, acoustic guitars, a sitar or a banjo.
