Im a independent guitarist/producer living and working in the windy city, land of the haters....Chicago (Wisco is worse though)!! I perform with 5 different bands, all ranging in styles from rock to soul. I currently play for Elevation (Chicago's premiere U2 tribute), Jedsed (live hip-hop), Zzaje (hip-hop/neo-soul), Starpeople (reggae) and GBOT (indie rock). I am attempting to record and produce my own record featuring all origional works with all instrumentation done by myself, a slow process but rewarding none the less. Hopefully i can edit that soon. I have played for numerous other hip-hop groups in Chicago and Milwaukee: Bad News Jones, Rhymefest, Black Elephant, Growing Nation, Treologic, Starpeople, and Poetree Chicago. I have also had the privelege of working with two very fine Chicago hip-hop producers S7N and MOAB, and I contiunue to produce and sequence tracks from my home studio in my spare time as well as studio work. You can catch me on recordings by Black Elephant, Devi Oso, Race, Treologic, Diva God, Daniel Vaughn, and Poetree Chicago. I have been producing my own tracks lately and they are up for grabs if the offer makes sense and the artist has a genuine interest in my sound. I try to stay as busy as possible while having the variences in style to keep my mind and taste sharp and hopefully unbiased. I always bring my personal style to any musical environment, I strive on my own authenticity while being consiously appropriate and creative within those environments. I hope that as I continue to grow and mature as a person, it will reflect in the music I play and lead me down the right path in life, no matter where it ends.//////////////Whether or not you're a die hard U2 fan, Elevation is worth checking out. We perform all around Chicago and midwest, with some national dates and recent trips to Ireland and Honduras. You can catch us every St. Patricks day on the strip at the NYNY Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. We strive for authenticity, so the sound, clothing, equipment, and performance are uncanny - if your a tribute then you should do it right! Its a welcome homecomming for me because I have been a fan for 15 years and its one of the reasons why i picked up a guitar in the first place!////////////Zzaje is an 8 piece hip hop/jazz/neo-soul band which has worked the chicago scene for years as a hired band for national touring artists and local favorites. Since joining Zzaje I have had the opportunity to perform in music videos by R. Kelly, Kanye West, and Twista, and I have shared the stage with artists such as Dwelle, Kindred the Family Soul, Chico DeBarge, Noel Gourdin, Brownstone, Eric Robison, Slum Village, Rhymefest, R. Kelly, Marsha, Trackster, Twista, J. Ivy, and Malik Yusef.////////////Jedsed is a live hip-hop outfit with some of the best musicians i know. Creator MC Lipshitz (Jed Spiegleman) is a Chicago underground favorite, and the band features Andrei Chahine, Tim "Turbo" Lincoln (bass), Dan Crane (drums), and Gracie Lincoln (vocals). So far the project has been well received and the shows have been ridiculous!!!//////////////GBOT is a homegrown project inspired by the wacky lifestyle of my lifelong friend Gareth Fewel. The music is written by Gareth, and although I wrote the guitar parts and did some beat production and arrangement, GBOT is his brainchild. Everything was tracked in his basement and my apartment, and we were fortunate enough to have our good friend Kris Myers from Umphrees McGee add some great dimension to the sound. We are currently trying to get the project off the ground because the record turned out to be excellent and the new songs are really killin./////////////////
