About Me

I have a passion for classic cars. I work in IT but sometimes wish I was a mechanic so I could get away from the damn fluorescent lights in my office. I like to stay informed about the world around me and don't believe I can get that from only domestic news sources. I appreciate going to musuems but can just as easily be happy in a dive bar with friends. I don't believe in organized religion, I agree in general with the "opiate of the masses" bit and find it disheartening to see what goes on due to it in the world these days. Morality dosen't need religion in order to exist. I'd consider "The Golden Rule" a pretty good guide to behavior. My favorite band is Rush. The lyrics are just amazing to me (actually thought provocking), and thats just one aspect of what I like about them. Who else has such good bass solos??I like pin-up art. I think it would be cool if more people could dress like Gwen Stefani in real life without needing to be a rockstar or it being Halloween. I think we are too uptight as a society.I really like animals. People who don't are missing out. .. An example of Manuel Nunez's art that I like: Pai Mei taught you the five point palm-exploding heart technique?

Remember, remember the fifth of November
The gunpowder treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, twas his intent
To blow up king and parliament.
Three score barrels were laid below
To prove old England's overthrow.
By God's mercy he was catched
With a dark lantern and lighted match.
Holler boys, holler boys, let the bells ring
Holler boys, holler boys, God save the King

Imagine being paid to come up with Bond girl names: My favorite pin-up art piece to date: Ok these were my favorite Transformers as a kid:

I'd be tempted to get a similar one someday: I like No Doubt's music and Gwen Stefani does some awesomely creative things with fashion that I respect(yes she is hot too): PETA is going to hate me for these photos: I really like 40s and 50s pin-up art: Kylie Minogue's Showgirl tour. (hehe): I was always amused at the similarity of these posters, I liked both the show and movie in question, but still is amusing anyway: I like a number of things Dina Meyer has been in (Starship Troopers - Stranger than Fiction - Birds of Prey - hell she was even in a Star Trek movie, not a great one but the other stuff was really good), plus she is from Queens like me. Callisto was my favorite character on Xena. Her background was actually a compelling storyline. Xena kills her family when she was young and when Xena was evil. Callisto becomes evil, greatly from this experience. Xena is good by then. But how do you deal with an evil you created from such a horrible circumstance. The character was well acted. Yeah its not Shakespeare but she made an interesting villian:
