Quinton "Qwestions" West born September 14, 1989 has been into music for as long as he can can remember. Growin up listenin to everythin from NWA to Michael Mcdonald(lol) hes always had a taste for musics many styles. Always being on the move due to his mother workin hard to support him and his sisters he always carried cassete tapes wit his favorite songs on em, he took his tape player everywhere. Music was his escape, it took him away from his bad living situations, took away the pain of bein beatin every other day by his drunken stepfather. Music is all he had. Besides listenin to endless amounts of music Qwestions was once a good poet. The same poetry he decided to lay down on beats for ur listenin pleasure back in 2003. It wasnt good lol. But that didnt stop him he spent hours everyday writin tryin to perfect his craft in somethin he loved so much. He wouldnt record again until 2005. Qwestions recorded many freestyles and to his surprise they were taken in well by many people in his neighborhood, and myspace. Droppin freestyles everyday for many weeks made his writin skills alot better he became a quicker writer. As soon as he was ready to give the world his music through a series of mixtapes fate slapped him in the face. He was falsely accused and arrested in 2006 for an armed robbery, and was then put on house arrest. It was like those times where he locked himself in his room all over again. Somethin did come out of the situation he had no distractions. He wrote a song everyday for the 2 months he was confined to his home. Once that was over he bought a microphone and started recorded his songs in his home. Postin them on myspace, forums anywhere people could listen. In 2007 Qwest is hard at work buildin up momentum for his second and third mixtapes. Qwest doesnt follow the crowd he builds one around him he has enough versatility to always keep u on ur toes durin one of his songs. The years to come arent clear but through the smoke, fog, and haters Qwestions will be heard.
