Born and bred in the South, Angela Wood started her music career at a young age. From Texas preacher's daughter to California rock n' roller, she's been influenced by any and every musical genre under the sun. She lived in Nashville for two years, where she honed her skills working with Shooter Jennings, Big & Rich, and other various artists/writers/producers. Soon after, she decided to make the big move to the west coast... to rock this casbah. Unpacking her bags in Los Angeles, Angela found herself joining West Indian Girl, an indie band on AstralWerks/Virgin Records, and after a bit of touring decided to go solo.
Blending the influences of her youth with the flavor she's gained along the way Angela Wood has concocted a style all her own working and is currently working with producers: Mickey Jack Cones and David Malloy.
Take a listen... there's more to come soon.<Span style="text-align:center;position:absolute; background-repeat:no-repeat; height:32px; width:100%;left:0px;top:200px;
