About Me

Look, you're gonna have to give me a second on this...Check out my OTHER SITE
Here, play with my cat...
..
adopt your own virtual pet!
I'm not a blogger, and I don't go .. enough to keep people really interested... I like to think I have a life outside the interweb.
I will, however, try to fill this crap in as interstingly as possible...
I have a huge amount of interests... you ask me about it (nothing too specific; I don't know the mating habits of African dung beetles) and I may have some interest or knowledge of it... If I can remember.
I'm somewhat spiritual and rather theological... I don't like the religion thing, because man's really made things ineffable.
I love my '92 240 SX LE. It's got a KA24DE and the cool air intake... I should get some pictures... unfortunately it's standard 'maroon/dark red' so it's not as cool as I would like.
I work days, full time, and program nights for as long as I can stay awake. I've got a gaming problem: not enough games! Those guys at Bungie sure know how to create a story line. After I found out about Marathon, I got as many variations of the original three as I could... Durandal is one evil mofo.
Spiritualism... I'm not actually sure what that means... let me look it up on the wiki guide ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiritualism I think what I mean is more spiritual than religious... wait... yes, according to the definitions that is what I mean... I have some deeply held spiritual beliefs that coincide with my religious beliefs... ah, this is too complicated. Suffice to say that religion is man-made and very, very limited in its views.
Magick... we'll talk about that one-on-one.
Gaming... oh, yeah. I love games... RPG, compter, console, board. Not too much into spors, but I like to get out and do some things.

Hey! I've got archived blog entries that show my immaturity! You should read them and laugh at me. That's what Happy Noodle Boy does. Except... he doesn't like my space... or even going online... hmm. Gozaimasu {^_^}

Building things: model figures, WhiteWing gliders, computer programs, musical compositions...
Reading: all sorts of fiction, sci-fi, non-fiction commentaries, comics and graphic novels, food labels...
Activities: geez... any sort of outdoor activity, and most indoor activities.
Others: movies, cartoons, general tv, music- woah, lot's of music... anything but this new Country 'Pop' crap.
Try this

Your Dominant Intelligence is Logical-Mathematical Intelligence
You are great at finding patterns and relationships between things. Always curious about how things work, you love to set up experiments. You need for the world to make sense - and are good at making sense of it. You have a head for numbers and math ... and you can solve almost any logic puzzle. You would make a great scientist, engineer, computer programmer, researcher, accountant, or mathematician.

and this

Your Brain's Pattern
Structured and organized, you have a knack for thinking clearly.
You are very logical - and you don't let your thoughts get polluted with emotions.
And while your thoughts are pretty serious, they're anything from boring.
It's minds like yours that have built the great cities of the world!

You Are 50% Weird
Normal enough to know that you're weird...
But too damn weird to do anything about it!

Your Hidden Talent
You have the natural talent of rocking the boat, thwarting the system.
And while this may not seem big, it can be.
It's people like you who serve as the catalysts to major cultural changes.
You're just a bit behind the scenes, so no one really notices.

I'd like to meet:

People... anyone really... you know, within reason. It would help to have similar interests, but that's academic. Uh...funny, fun, or intellectual types are good. People with a serious problem... look I don't mind helping, but don't use me as a crutch. I've been through it and it's wearing me out. But, yeah, anyone who wants to talk about anything of interest.
Maria Bamford ... This lady is exceptionally funny, on top of being a great person and a really pretty lady! enjoy :P

Music:

oh... right... um... specifics then?
Saint Diablo!!
System of a Down, Metallica, Lisa Loeb, Björk, Misfits, Gorillaz, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, NIN, Radiohead, Poe, Ray Charles, Ween, Tenacious D, Violent Femmes, Tori Amos... and these are just my favorites...

Movies:

um... 'Kung Fu' movies (Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Jackie Chan, mainly), sci fi, comedies (Blazing Saddles, Orgazmo), westerns (Magnificent Seven, Seven Samurai, West World)...
But don't ask me to quote or remember any lines from any movies... I can't REMEMBER!!!

Television:

geez... cartoons, like, uh... South Park, Family Guy, Simpsons, Futurama, Inu-Yasha, Tenchi, fooly cooly, Rurouni Kenshin, and a few others...
There's also the Adult Swim stuff... Robot Chicken and others...
History, Discovery, Comedy Central, G4, Nick, Spike, FX, a slew of channels that provide entertainment for me...

Books:

wow... so many... digging into brain files... um.... *erk*... uh... Chronicles of Amber (Robert Zelezny(?)), Deryni Chronocles (Katheryn Kurtz), Adept series (P. Anthony) some stories by Damon Knight, Isaac Asimov, Bradbury, H.P.Lovecraft, E.A.Poe, Robert Aspirin, Stephen King, the late and great Douglas Adams... a few more than that... can't quite remember... the guy who did Rendevous with Rama...

Heroes:

Don't really have any heroes... never really did... I was too bothered with trying to survive, much less look up to someone. Oh wait... maybe on my pictures page, I've got a hero pictured...
