Hi, I would like to be your friend. My name is Barbara, but you can call me babbs. I'm a wife/mom/granna also duaghter/sister. I try to be a good listener and not be judgmentle. I will try and listen to both sides of a problem and rationalize it from all veiws. Some times this can be a bit of a downfall, but I try. My interest involve my family. They are my reason for living. My husband and I have been together for 23 wonderful yrs. not all good but not all bad, but we are still together and love each other. I love each one of my 4 children in many different ways, they each have their own sprcial quality about them. And I try and support them in what ever they have chosen for their life's.I love to photograph pictures, mostly the family. I have about twenty albums full of photo's from Christmas, Easter, Vacation's and Birthday's, my children growing up, friends and thier families, you name it and more than likely I have a picture of it.

I like to work with flowers and plants and work in the yards. But here lately because of health and weight problem's I don't get out as much as I should or would like to. My main goal for the rest of this yesr, is to improve my self, in health, looks, attitude and any other areas that need improving. We all have flaws we need to work on.

I'd like to meet:

There are several, I would really like to meet Julia Roberts, because she is from Smyrna and that is where I grew up. I also would like to meet Oprah, John Travoltra and if she was still alive Princes Diana. I would also like to meet MY NEW BEST FRIEND Paula, that I met here on my-space..

I really don't have a favorite, I like ALL kinds of music from rock to country and everything in between. I like Rascal Flatts, Rod Stewart (new & old) the Bee Gees was my all time favorite like I said I LIKE IT ALL. I guess that's why I'm a BIG Idol fan. the latest is James Blunt, "Your Beautiful".

Let's see, I like all of Julia Roberts movies starting with Stealmagnolias, Erin Brochovich, Knotting Hill, Runaway Bride, Stepmom. Also I like Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Meg Ryan, Sandra Bullick-James, plus there are many others. Ocean Eleven & Twelve, Castaway, Hope Floats, oh yea, Where The Heart Is w/Ashley Judd, Ghost, City Of Angels w/ Nicholas Cage. I guess you can say I like all the mushy romantic ones. But who doesn't

OK this could be boring, because I can go on for ever. I'll start with ER, Friends, Judging Amy, and of course my all time favorite AMERICAN IDOL. I liked session 2 & 3 of Survivior. This season I'm into Boston Legal, House, and Grey's Anatomy. I used to be a SOAP fanatic but they are all the same. I really like to watch Oprah and Dr. Phil and The View. I once was a TLC and HGTV junky. During the day my TV usually stays on children programs.

My favorite books are romance, not the dirty kind, the sweet loving, happy ending, NON REALITY kind. Luanne Rice and Fern Micheals. I also like to pick up the tabloids and read about all the stars, again non reality.
