About Me

Hey! Originally hailing from the Cornhusker state (that would be Nebraska), I am the pastoral associate for middle school ministry at a church in Minnesota. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in American Literature and I have my Masters degree in Youth and Family Ministry from Luther Seminary. For many years I was very involved in theatre and the arts, both in school and in the community. I still love the arts and find them creeping into every aspect of my ministry as I share my faith with the youth at my church.

I love books! I just finished "Everybody wants to go to Heave, but Nobody wants to Die" by David Crowder--it was amazing! So far, I am really enjoying it. Perennial favorites include "Girl Meets God", "Blue Like Jazz", "Amazing Grace", "Without Reservations", "Wuthering Heights", and anything by Jane Austen.

Heroes:

My Mom! Fought bravely against lymphoma (cancer). She died October 30, 2006, but never gave up hope. Her strength, faith, humor, and joy continue to amaze me. She is a constant inspiration to me!
