************************************************************ ********************* "If we keep AIMING FOR the STARS in our lifetimes and only end up hitting the Moon along the way ... it will Still be an 'OUT OF THIS WORLD' experience" :) ************************************************************ ********************* Interests involve dedicating special songs to the most wonderful inspiration in the World: Love ... and just allowing it to flow and enter unconditionally into my life ... yet always being thankful to Our Creator for realizing it now. Having over 4 years of accepting 'freedom from a burden' (some of you know what this pertains to) has led to a path of enlightenment one could only have ever contemplated before and never really understood. Starting to live the dream, day by day, "One Day at a Time," is the most wondrous experience in finding growth and harmony. Enjoying quality time with family and friends, whilst also trying to balance investigating our planet, more often, in search of the 'Ultimate Mix' ... and finding solutions to global warming and children's suffering is now a God given mission and one of 'the' reasons for existence. Walking on to Porth Island is always an uplifting experience. Having "Keiki" back to her 'old 4-legged friend' self is wonderful, especially since being back in training again :) Remembering the look on the Ukrainian's secret DJ Sasha from Kiev, as he did his first mix at a gig :))) Listening to and learning from 'Crawford' and the guys at the 3MD meetings. Of course, as well, during 'Intense Meditation' (only kidding here guys and gals), knowing that Plymouth Argyle will one day 'move up into' the English Premiership League?!! :))) Ha! We can all dream about the last one, right?! :))) However, the wheels have been set in motion and everything keeps gaining momentum :))) The friendly 'Green Barmy Army' keeps dancin on!!! Why prevent a positive feeling from fulfilling it's potenial and promise ?! :))
All the Positive Souls living our human existence in this precious World ... especially those who love trance, house, jazz-funk and only the best dance '4-on-the-Floor' tunes, of course :))) I'd also probably like to meet DJ Mark Hix and Lee Ryda in 5 years time from now ... wherever they are in the World!
************************************************************ ********************* A BIG THANX TO EVERYONE WHO HAS CALLED OR WRITTEN TO SAY HOW MUCH THEY 'LOVE' THE LONDON and MADRID MIXES. ************************************************************ ********************* THE RECORD COMPANY HAS JUST ISSUED 500 PROMO ONLY PRE-RELEASE 'LIVE' IN BERLIN CDs as number 3 in THE 2007 WORLD SERIES. FOR ALL OUR FRIENDS, CALL ME ASAP on the mobile or email us (or management) TO RECEIVE YOUR FREE COPY. Initial responses from everyone, so far, have been amazing ... thank you so much from Lee in London and myself. We intend to keep producing and mixing up more for ya :) ************************************************************ ********************* MANAGEMENT IS NOW securing Rio after this for #4. ************************************************************ ********************* Lee and myself would like to extend our love out to all the respect and best wishes we have received over the last couple of weeks ... especially Rosie and Ronnie, as always :) Sasha from Kiev ... :))) Dasha's dancing :))) Les (in management) is now working on Rio for the New Year for us all :) The song chosen on this page, may be a little different than expected, however, it gave the most powerful pleasure after mastering to play the original as a professional bass player/percussionist and then later as a career chosen DJ in the clubs of London and around the UK and Europe. Makes us all want to go and dance in West London again with the "possee". Wouldn't it be nice if we all do soon ... again :) ************************************************************ ********************* Within all genres of music, there can be beauty and amazing talent :) Musical influences are extremely diverse here, but, enormous respect would have to be given to (in no particular order): Kraftwerk, Herbie Hancock, John Coltrane, Lennon/McCartney, Quincy Jones, Incognito, Level 42, David Bowie, Giorgio Moroder, Magazine, Stevie Wonder, MFSB, Tom Browne, The Who, George Duke, John Foxx, Mass Production, Genesis, Bob Marley, Depeche Mode, Elvis, Ziggy Marley, Charles Earland, Tangerine Dream, Roy Ayres, Stanley Clarke, Ronnie Laws, Arthur Adams, Jim Mullen, Dick Morrissey, Brian Eno, Brass Construction, Joy Division, Luther Vandross, Japan, EWF, Slave, Ultravox, Rodney Franklin, Gene Vincent, Azymuth, Light of The World, New Order, The Hudson People, Simple Minds, Burt Bacharach, Visage, George Benson, Telex, Lonnie Liston Smith, Human League, Donald Byrd, AWB, The Danse Society, Nile Rodgers, The Crusaders, Alan Silvestri and always John Peel, Steve Walsh, Froggy, Rusty Egan, Thursdays at The Camden Palace, Robbie Vincent, Blue Rondo a la Turk, the crowd's reaction to my first 'mix' at The Wag (Soho, London), big John Dean (The Wall of Sound) and the guys from the 'Radio One Roadshow' days, especially our Caister and Brighton Conference 'All Weekenders' ... 9,000 crazy Brits just going for it. Yet, not forgetting the first time hearing Frank Sinatra's timing (and DJing at his birthday party at The Shrine, of course when he was alive with us), then, there's Nat King Cole's ease of delivery :))) Just a few random thoughts :))) Love and Thanx to all (especially The Modern Bride Magazine) who voted me Number One DJ again for 2 consecutive years. Special thanx to 'The Knot' who made me "2007 Best of Weddings Pick" and everyone who supports the cause through the website: http://www.hixmix.com.
