HELLO & THANKS for coming to our site! PS28UK was a ministry born in early 2006 out of Gods desire for us (Tommy & Karen Lee) to go work in the ministry in England and the scripture He gave us as confirmation to our calling; PSALM 2:8 (New International Version) "Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession." We have never considered ourselves missionaries or even called to the mission field itself UNTIL NOW! ONLY GOD could have changed our hearts to accept this new and exciting assignment. We have been married for 24 years and have 3 children; Cody, Kayla and Keagan. The last 17 years of our lives have been dedicated to the ministry that God has called us to, including youth pastors/assoc pastors at South Parkway Worship Center in Ruston, Louisiana, church planter/pastors in Spokane,Washington and youth pastor/assoc. pastors in Decatur, Texas. Now God has asked us to go to the great small isle of ENGLAND to aid and support churches there. Statistics show that ONLY 1% of England is churched and of this many have only a religion knowledge of God rather than relationship. Statistics also show that if England is not reached for the gospel in the next 10 years the country will be completely Muslim. God is calling us to go and help make a difference in the country that GAVE US our religious freedom. May-December 2006 we served in Arborthorne Community Church aka ACC in Sheffield England, a city of about 600,000 helping to raise the bar in children's and worship ministry, initiating a guest ministry, welcome and set-up teams and supporting through pastoral care, visitation and ladies Bible Study. Now as of January 2007 we have moved to Alford England about six miles from the coast of the North Sea to help in Alford Community Church for a season. Pastors Mark and Leslie Rowe have been friends of ours for 5 years and we were in attendance at the service where they were prophecied to that help was coming from all over the world to them but also from Decatur Texas. As most of you know we moved from Decatur to England! That makes us being here a partial fulfillment of that prophecy! Although rural, this portion of Lincolnshire County has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in the UK. The local high school has opened its doors to Alford Community Church by giving us the opportunity to hold assemblies teaching Godly character and values as well as teach R.E. (religious education classes) which are mandatory in all public schools! This area is at a pivotal Kingdom point. The Holy Spirit is opening an effective door of ministry!We have also been asked to work with an Anglican Fresh Expressions Church in Sheffield to help train and encourage their youth and childrens workers. We are looking forward to being with The Beacon every 6-8 weeks for weekend training to help grow the Kingdom.We have also have request to preach in churches in Manchester as well. God is doing great things!If the Lord leads, you can be a part of this misson too!
