About Me

Southern rockin' country blues, alternative, roots rock and americana - all these labels have been used to describe Eric's music. In the late 70's Eric's first band, Chrome, was formed. Eric created The American Steel Band in Alabama in 1987 and later moved to Nashville. They recorded eight albums from 1987 - 2002, two of which made the list of Top Independent Albums in Performing Songwriters Magazine.
In late summer of 2002, Eric recorded his eleventh album . Eric came back to Nashville with Last Will and Testament. The players from that recording, David Gulliver, Jason Herndon, and Gary Edmons, became The F105 Band.
Eric has worked with some incredible talent over the years in production and songwriting.

The Buzz on Eric Fiedor:
From Playing Out Loud (UK): "...a great album(Last Will and Testament). Heavy country-rock from a man who sings like hes been gargling with gravel and soothing it with whisky." - Peter Ashton (Playing Out Loud)
From Americana UK: "Fiedors style has just enough indie and just enough roots to make it stand out, and just enough musical hooks for some of the riffs and themes to keep coming back to you." - Mark Phillips (Americana UK)
From Rikk's Reviews : 5 stars "Catchy roots rock with an Americana feel that has more great hooks than your gran-daddies tackle box. This is the way pure from the heart pure rock n' roll is supposed to feel. - Rikk Matheson
From Rambles Cultural Arts Magazine: "Fiedor plays fast-moving blues-rock, both hard-edged and accessible. A chorus of guitars fuse into one layered sound, supported with a confident bass ..." "Fiedor ... is using his voice as another instrument, and his low, hungover vocals are the perfect match for the band's gravel-laced rock sound." - Sarah Meador (Rambles)
