there's this one book i've had since i was a little girl that my mom's friend tamara gave me for christmas. it's called voyage of the basset. it's like an adult picture book. it ties all the different mythologies together in a sort of innocent love story that makes me so... happy. the best quotes i ever heard come from this book: "faith precedes the miracle" and "credendo vides [believing is seeing.]".
