I am married without children. Well that's not exactly true. I do have a few kids that are just like my own even though they were born to different parents! I have three absolutely adorable puppies and one beautiful cat. Yes I did say three puppies - the third one is all Becca's fault! Since I don't have any children of my own I have plenty of time to spoil my Seven nieces, eight nephews, eleven great nephews, and one great niece. Yes, there are twenty-seven of them and I buy Christmas presents for all of them! Family is very important to me. I recently lost my dad and it is one of the hardest things I have had to endure. I always knew that I was a mommy's girl (and proud of it), but I never realized how much of a daddy's girl I was.My undergrad degree is from the University of Minnesota - Duluth (GO BULLDOGS!) and I completed my graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin - Superior. I am trained to be a special education teacher, but am employed by a non-profit working as a Vocational Evaluator, ABE Teacher, and an Employment Counselor. I believe that I was called by God to work with the poor.I am 3/4 Swede and the other 1/4 is split between Scottish, Irish, English, and Dutch. Contrary to popular belief, my red hair and blue eyes come from my Swedish heritage.My favorite places in the world are the cabin, Disneyland, and Tucson. I am not a friend collector, I have a small group of friends that I would do just about anythinf for.
